Akard Place — Dallas, TX

Akard Place is a to-be-built 1-million sq. ft. mixed use project located near the Historic West End of downtown Dallas and Victory Park, a significant master-planned community that incorporates the American Airlines Center, the Katy Trail, shopping, dining and entertainment, upscale residences, and the W Hotel. The plans call for two towers that include a mix of hotel and residential space, plus up to 150,000 sq. ft. of retail which will include specialty retail, services, local and national restaurants, and a variety of entertainment venues.

CityScape — Phoenix, AZ

CityScape is a 1.8-million sq. ft. urban project located at the core of downtown Phoenix. This multi-use development will become a focal point for urban living and community activity, capitalizing on the resurgence of downtown Phoenix. Plans call for a mix of office and residential space, plus approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of retail. The retail mix will include specialty merchants, neighborhood retail such as a specialty grocer and service uses, local and national restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The Shops & Lofts at So7 — Ft. Worth, TX

The Shops & Lofts at So7 is the retail portion and final phase of a 25-acre development project that began in 2003 by Hughes Development. The prior phases included a 150-room Residence Inn, 58 residential lots developed with luxury Mediterranean-style town houses, a four-story, and a 54-unit condo building adjacent to 11 gallery homes. The business plan calls for 72 residential units, 49,481 sq. ft. of retail space, and 15,735 sq. ft. of office space. The Shops & Lofts at So7 is located near Ft. Worth’s Cultural District approximately 5 miles west of downtown. The area is becoming one of Ft. Worth’s most friendly “urban villages” with sprawling development of mixed-use buildings including retail, commercial, and condos. The project is also adjacent to Trinity Park which provides 30+ miles of paved and gravel trails.

Legends at Sparks Marina — Sparks, NV

The Legends at Sparks Marina is a 1-million sq. ft. shopping and entertainment destination. It is located just east of Sparks Marina at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Sparks Boulevard. Market studies indicate the project has the potential to draw an additional 800,000 tourists to the market to 6.3 million annually. By boosting tourism, STAR (sales tax anticipated revenue) bonds, a unique financing tool available for projects that have a positive impact on the region are being utilized.
